Robotics industry undergoes weak year in 2019

In 2019 421 thousand industrial robots were launched around the world, which is less than the last year 2018, which witnessed the launch of 422 thousand robots, and this is the first time that this market has declined in seven years.
Compared to previous years that witnessed steady growth, the market was weak in 2019 compared to, due to the current tension and sensitivity in the trade conditions between China and the United States of America, for example,
the revenues of the Japanese company Fanuc, which is one of the four leaders in this field increased by 24.4%, and its annual revenue decreased by a massive 50%, and the performance of Yaskawa, which is also one of the four leaders in this market,
decreased by 14.7% on an annual basis, and its revenues decreased by more than 58%.
However, the robotics industry is optimistic about a good year in 2020, and some of them have made the decision to distribute production places to reduce risks.
