Samsung is showing us an experimental virtual keyboard that uses AI

The problem with our smartphones is that their screens are still very small until we write to them for long periods. If you want to write a long document or email, you know it might be a little difficult to try to write it completely on the screen of your smartphone, but Samsung has a potential solution for you.
This solution is called "SelfieType", and is an experimental virtual keyboard based on the front camera of your phone and the AI to allow you to type without touching your phone. Basically, the front camera of your phone will detect your hands and fingers and will try to figure out what to write based on the position of your finger.
According to Samsung, it stated: “SelfieType is a virtual keyboard that uses the front camera. The Artificial Intelligence Engine SelfieType AI analyzes finger movements coming from the front camera and converts them into Qwerty keyboard entries. SelfieType Virtual Keyboard does not require any additional hardware and is highly adaptable to many mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops. ”
The SelfieType keyboard is part of Samsung C-Lab Inside the software, which mainly includes projects developed by Samsung employees. The SelfieType virtual pilot keyboard is expected to appear at the CES 2020 this week, but it remains to be seen whether or not it will make its way to Samsung devices in the future.
