Samsung's Vtouch technology allows you to interact with devices without touching them

Many of our devices these days require us to actually touch them in order to interact with them. This is not a bad thing, but if you want to live in a reality where you can interact with things without actually touching them, it appears that Samsung is taking the necessary steps to ensure this happens.
The company has unveiled a so-called "Vtouch", a new technology that allows users to control devices without actually touching them. This technology uses computer vision, deep learning technology,
and eye-tracking technology, allowing devices to know what we are doing and how to respond to gestures.
Samsung cites multiple uses of this technology, such as smart cars and smart homes, and also showed us how this technology can also be used in environments that need to be free from germs and bacteria. However, touchless navigation is not entirely new and we've seen how companies like Microsoft use devices like Kinect to achieve something similar.
Even Google has experimented with gestures that do not need touch, it has included Motion Sense technology in Google Pixel 4 and Google Pixel 4 XL, a radar-based technology that allows users to interact with the phone without touching it. We are not sure if Samsung has plans to bring Vtouch technology to the market,
but we expect to get more information at CES 2020 this week in Las Vegas, USA.
