Google Stadia acquires the Typhoon development team

Google has not succeeded in achieving a strong launch of the Stadia video game cloud platform, and numerous reports indicated that the performance of the trading platform was below expectations, and perhaps one of the reasons was the lack of exclusive games for the platform,
despite the presence of popular games from third-party companies.
Well, here is Google taking the first steps to tackle this problem by acquiring the independent development team Typhoon in order to build exclusive games for the Stadia Cloud platform, a small-scale developer working on the Journey to the Savage Planet game.
The studio was founded in Montreal by Alex Hutchinson, former creative director of French company Ubisoft, who directed Far Cry 4.
