iPhone XR was the best-selling phone globally in the last quarter

The iPhone XR announced in September last year was the best-selling smartphone worldwide in the third quarter of 2019, according to a report by Counterpoint Research, a market research firm. The iPhone XR has acquired a 3 percent market share, and the smartphone has remained the best-selling every three months globally since the last quarter of 2018.
Counterpoint Research mentioned that the iPhone XR alone contributed more than a quarter of Apple's total sales during this quarter, making it the best-selling smartphone for the American company in all markets. It should be noted that Apple also adjusted iPhone XR prices in China and other regions to keep demand for the phone strong during the quarter.
The iPhone 11 announced last September joined the iPhone XR with a 1.6 percent market share. It is worth noting that the list of the ten best-selling smartphones in the third quarter of this year includes six models from Samsung and Oppo, and the last two phones in the list are Xiaomi Redmi 7A and Huawei P30.
The report says that the Redmi 7A phone succeeded in generating significant sales in India, as this country is responsible for more than half of the total sales during the third quarter of this year.
