Redmi officially unveils the Redmi K30 and Redmi K30 5G phones

After a long series of teasers, Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi finally officially unveiled the Redmi K30 and Redmi K30 5G phones, which include 6.67-inch screens with a refresh rate of 120Hz, and a 64-megapixel primary camera.

The Redmi K30 5G phone is the first phone equipped with the Snapdragon 765G processor, which makes it compatible with 5G networks, and this makes it the first Chinese sub-brand phone to support 5G networks. Apart from that, this phone also comes with the Android 10 system and with the MIUI 11 interface, and with four options on the memory level include 6GB / 64GB, 6GB / 128GB, 8GB / 128GB, and 8GB / 256GB.

The Redmi K30 5G also includes two cameras in the upper-right corner of the screen with a 20-megapixel camera for the primary camera and 2 megapixels for the second camera responsible for sensing depth information. When it comes to the backend, the new Redmi K30 5G includes four 64-megapixel cameras for the basic camera, 8-megapixel for the wide-angle camera, 5-megapixel for the macro camera, and 2-megapixels for the camera responsible for sensing depth information.

It is worth noting that the Redmi K30 5G phone does not have a fingerprint sensor at the back because this sensor is included in the power button on the side, as it includes a 4500mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging, and is available in four different colors including blue, red, purple and white.

As for the Redmi K30, it includes the same design as the Redmi K30 5G, but there are some differences between them. The regular Redmi K30 includes the Snapdragon 730G processor, which means that it does not support 5G networks. Moreover, it houses a 2-megapixel macro camera only and supports 27W fast charging.

Also, the Redmi K30 also lacks Dual GPS unlike the Redmi K30 5G, and supports Bluetooth 5.0, but it is only available in three different colors including blue, red and purple. When it comes to the prices of both phones, you will find it in the table below:

Generally, the Redmi K30 5G phone will be available for purchase in China in January next year, but the Redmi K30 phone will be on sale starting December 12. Unfortunately, there is currently no information as to when the Redmi K30 Series will arrive in other markets.
