Samsung will unveil the artificial "Neon" at CES 2020

Samsung announced its artificial intelligence-based Bixby digital assistant in March of 2017. This digital assistant was first included in the Galaxy S8 Series lineup, but then it reached a long list of smartphones and home appliances.
After more than two years, the South Korean company plans to unveil its new product, which is based on artificial intelligence, which is named Neon, at the Consumer Electronics Show CES 2020 to be held in Las Vegas, USA, next January.
Neon was developed by Samsung Technology and Advanced Research Lab with Mr. Pranav Mistry as President and CEO of the unit responsible for the development process. Mr. Pranav Mistry is best known for his work on SixthSense and Galaxy Gear, and he previously held the position of Global Vice President at Samsung.
Details about Neon are rare at the moment and since many thought it was just an advanced version of Bixby, the company had to make it clear that “Neon is not about Bixby.” Indeed, Neon appears to be a digital person powered by artificial intelligence and mimic the emotions and intelligence of real humans, at least according to the official teasers that have been published so far.
At this point, it is difficult to say exactly what Neon is, but Samsung posted some photos on Twitter with a question saying, “Have you met an artificial person? ”In five different languages, including English, which probably implies that Neon will be able to interact with users in multiple languages.
In any case, we will not have to wait long before we know the identity of Neon, CES 2020 will be held within about 10 days, so we hope Samsung will reveal more information about this product to us at the time.
