The upcoming Xperia phone will come with a screen hole for the front camera

Sony has made some of the much-needed changes to its smartphones that it released this year, and one of the most prominent of these changes is to provide its modern smartphones with long screens with an aspect ratio of 9:21. It seems that the year 2020 will lead to further improvements on Xperia phones, including the use of a hole in the screen for the front camera. A recently published patent in the WIPO World Intellectual Property Office database displays a design by Sony for the user interface for its upcoming device in addition to its slim bezel at the top.
By taking a closer look at the screen, the multi-window feature shows us, but it is interesting to use both of the top two corners to display information with time on the left and the battery status on the right side. This indicates that Sony may use a hole in the upper middle part of the screen for the front camera similar to the Galaxy Note 10 Series series. The owners of LetsGoDigital have managed to convert this patent into computer images that show us how this phone will look better.
Apart from that, we don't have much information now. We recently saw the upcoming Xperia 3 in the Geekbench performance testing platform, the phone that will feature the latest Snapdragon 865 processor from Qualcomm, and 12 GB of RAM. Also, it is believed that this phone will support 5G networks, and it will include six cameras at the back and a screen with QuadHD + resolution.
Last year, Sony released the Xperia 1 alongside Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus during the MWC Mobile World Congress, so we can see the new Xperia lineup in this year's edition of the same conference.
