Xiaomi will invest $ 7 billion over the next five years on 5G and AI

Xiaomi was among the first companies to enter the 5G phones market in the year 2019, it has released some of the first smartphones compatible with 5G networks, such as Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 5G and Xiaomi Mi9 Pro 5G, but it seems that we will witness a greater number of 5G phones from Xiaomi in 2020.

Indeed, the co-founder and CEO of Xiaomi, Mr. Lei Jun, announced that the company plans to inject 50 billion RMB, equivalent to $ 7 billion in 5G technologies, AI and IoT over the next five years.

Returning to last October, the company revealed that it plans to release more than 10 5G phones in the year 2020. Xiaomi plans to implement its ambitions in the 5G network sector by building a separate factory to develop and produce its next flagship phones.
