The next generation of the Huawei Mate X phone will be released in the second half of next year

We have already heard that Huawei is preparing to unveil an improved version of its Huawei Mate X foldable smartphone at the Mobile World Congress MWC 2020 to be held next February,
and this version will feature the HiSilicon Kirin 990 processor and will likely carry the name Huawei Mate Xs, but this is just A simple enhanced version of an existing product.
Now, according to a new rumor from Taiwan, it seems that the real successor to the Huawei Mate X phone will arrive sometime during the second half of next year.
Some of the company's upcoming phone component suppliers, including joints and screens, have already begun the pilot production of components that the Huawei Mate X successor will need.
Taiwanese joint manufacturers are said to see promising potential from the foldable smartphone segment and are therefore looking to increase their production capacity.
However, folding devices require complicated component designs, and there are also limitations when it comes to supplying flexible displays, so it's still not entirely clear how smooth the mass production chain will be.
As always when it comes to such reports, it will be best to handle everything that has been said so far with the least enthusiasm.
It stands to reason that Huawei will not abandon the foldable devices, and therefore they are already working on other foldable devices. After all, she and Samsung were the leaders in this field.
